Berry scores in 88th minute, Crew beat Red Bulls 2-1
COLUMBUS (Ohio) — Darlington Nagbe scored 14 minutes later in the second period, and the Columbus Crew defeated the New York Red Bulls 2-1.
Columbus (8 -11-6) has lost eight of its nine previous games, including two consecutive defeats. New York (6 -11-5) has lost nine consecutive visits to Columbus. This includes the playoffs. New York’s last win over the Crew came in 2015..
Nagbe scored a rebound in 74th, to tie the score at 1. Berry received a rebound at the back post, and he was able to pass his defender to send the ball by goalkeeper Carlos Miguel Coronel.
New York scored the 25th, when Patryk Klimala brought home a loose ball in front the net.
