Donald Trump says Michigan rally to press for audit of state 2020 vote

Former President Donald Trump stated Friday that his supporters would use a upcoming rally to demand a “forensic assessment” of Michigan’s 2020 presidential election, which was won in part by Democrat Joe Biden.

The rally is scheduled for October 12 at Lansing’s State Capitol. It is being organized and coordinated by Election Integrity Fund and Force. Force is a non-profit that focuses on curbing “attempts against the integrity of our Elections .”

“Big Michigan Rally coming up on Oct. 12th, on the Capitol steps in Lansing, where Patriots will demand a Forensic Audit of the 2020 Presidential Election Scam,” Mr. Trump said in a statement. “The Voter Fraud goes beyond anything anyone can believe .”

Despite the claims, there is no evidence of widespread fraud in 2020’s presidential election. More than 60 court cases of alleged fraud have been dismissed across the country, including some by Trump-appointed judges.

There will be many Trump-endorsed candidates for local, national and international races. This includes Matt DePerno who Mr. Trump supports in the Michigan state attorney General race next year.

Mr. DePerno fought an unsuccessful legal battle against the government in Antrim County. He claimed election fraud as a result of an election-night tabulating error. Officials claim that it was quickly fixed. According to the official results, Mr. Biden won Michigan. This was a state where Mr. Trump won by 2.8 percentage points.

Also at the rally will Trump-endorsed Rep. Steve Carra (a member of Michigan’s House of Representatives) and Kristina Karmo (a candidate to be Michigan secretary of State — the official responsible for overseeing state elections.

The Michigan State Capitol’s website indicated that the rally would be at 100, on Tuesday. However, Mr. Trump seems to be counting on more supporters.

” Anyone who cares about our Great Country must attend. “Unless we look back and fix what happened in the past, we won’t have a country or a future,” Mr. Trump stated.
